Lavender Awakens: Spring Updates from A Little Bit of Land Lavender Farm
Spring is on the horizon, and here at A Little Bit of Land Lavender Farm in Vista, CA, we’re seeing the first signs of our beloved lavender waking up from its winter slumber. Thanks to the generous rainfall we received this season, our fields are coming alive with fresh green growth, signaling the start of another beautiful bloom cycle.
For those unfamiliar with the term, our lavender plants have been "wintered"—a natural resting phase during the cooler months where they conserve energy, strengthen their root systems, and prepare for the lush growth ahead. Now, with warmer days returning, the plants are stretching toward the sun, and we can already catch hints of their calming fragrance in the air.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be tending to the fields, trimming back dead , and preparing for a spectacular season of blooms. If you’re a lavender lover, now is the perfect time to plan a visit or follow along for updates on our upcoming events and harvests. Mark your calendars! We’re thrilled to announce our Open House on May 24, 2025. Join us for a day of lavender-filled fun, including farm tours, games, face-painting, and a chance to experience the beauty of our fields as the lavender begins to bloom.
Stay tuned for more news from the farm, and as always, thank you for being part of our lavender-loving community!
